Two Important Updates Regarding Mailing Regulations:
1. It is a long standing policy within the United States Postal Service (USPS) that any mailings with an indicia must be mailed by that permit holder. Permit holders are classified as agents of the USPS and are subject to very specific regulations. If you have a piece in your possession that you wish to mail and it has a preprinted permit, you may mail it only after placing the appropriate stamp or metered label over the indicia. Failure to do so may result in the permit holder losing their right to mail and may cause the mailing party to incur additional penalties. If you have any question, please ask your Whitmore sales representative.
2. As of September 8, 2009 there are new regulations for the handling of letter–size booklets in terms of tab size and location¸ paper weight¸ and dimensions. Download our .pdf for more information.
